Legacies is a family-owned business run by sisters-in-law Mary and Sarah Booras,
long-time Highlands Ranch Residents.
Our journey into estate sales began over 20 years ago, from the client’s side. After losing our parents and going through the emotional process of liquidating their homes, we found ourselves drawn to this work. That experience inspired us to help others navigate similar transitions with care and compassion.
Starting Legacies felt like a natural next step.
We genuinely love what we do—getting to know the families we work with, hearing the stories behind cherished items, and tackling each unique project. Every day is different, and we’re grateful to be doing something we’re passionate about. We hope you’ll invite us to be a part of your story too.
In response to changing times, we adapted.
After the pandemic, many families were understandably hesitant to host traditional in-home estate sales. To meet this need, we launched Denver Online Auctions—a safe, convenient alternative for home liquidation.
The platform was an immediate success and continues to grow, keeping us at the forefront of the industry. What began with just our company has expanded to include 10+ local estate sale companies using our platform, and a community of over 10,000 registered bidders across Colorado.
